What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is the guided relaxed state that allows you to access and change subconscious mind in order to improve your logical, conscious mind. Despite popular belief, you are not asleep or out of control during hypnosis. In fact, you are awakening your subconscious -the emotional part of your mind- and in a state of heightened control, making it a safe, deeply personal & healing experience.
How Does It Work?
While you're guided into hypnosis, your brain enters a relaxed state called "alpha brainwave", meaning you are more in-touch with your subconscious mind and able to accept powerful, healing suggestions. Neuroplasticity- your brain's ability to change- is the basis of hypnosis training. Hypnosis simply enhances the neuroplasticity in your brain to "rewire" your mind to hold better thinking patterns.
What is Neuroplasticity?
The neurons in your brain are like software to a computer: they need upgrades to "rewire" your thinking patterns. Through hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) you achieve upgraded beliefs, behaviors, and habits to achieve fast, powerful, and permanent results.
Is Hypnosis for You?
Medical consultation is recommended before engaging in hypnosis. Those with epilepsy or psychoactive disorders are advised against engaging in hypnosis. Hypnosis with a trained professional is a safe procedure & hypnosis is safe for people of all ages. For spiritual concerns, you may request your own personal beliefs to be incorporated into sessions, i.e. Christian hypnosis, etc.
